7 Ways to Make Money Using Only Your Opt-in List

An opt-in list can be quite crucial to any website or internet based company. Even for a small venture such as a niche website, an opt-in list can make a world of difference plus add some extra income to your pocket. It is quite rare that you would see an e-commerce website, whether big or small, that does not have an opt-in list.

An opt-in list allows for a company to market their products and website through e-mail. With an opt-in list, a website and a subscriber consents to sending and receiving, respectively, a newsletter from your company. Through this, you can keep your subscribers in the loop of what is currently available on your website as well as what is soon coming out.

Because of the mutual consent between the two parties, any e-mail sent to the subscriber is not considered spam. There are a great number of successfully read promotional materials such as catalogs, newsletters, and such that are sent because the subscribers themselves have signed up for them, meaning, they do want to be sent those items.

Therefore, building a list is crucial, yet only a small percentage of website visitors actually subscribe to an opt-in list. Many people find promotional e-mails annoying, but if you provide a good newsletter or promotional material, you will see your list build and grow. You can also achieve this by having quality content on your website. If people like what they see and read on your website, then they surely would want more. Newsletters would be a way to attract them back to your site, so offer a little teaser or appetizer on your website if you will.

In addition to marketing your products and services, an opt-in list can also be used to earn extra profit. Not all lists can be used though. It would be good to first build a successful list with a huge number of subscribers. The more subscribers you have, the more money you can make. Here are seven ways to make money using nothing more than your opt-in list.

1. Place advertisements.

There are many corporations who will be willing to pay to put their banners and ads on a list with many subscribers. Selling or renting out lists is not a good idea, so rather than doing that, many companies would just rather place ads with lists that have a huge subscriber base. Your newsletter could be placed with many ads and each one spells money.

2. Affiliate with other companies that are similar or somehow related to the subject of your website.

In this instance, other companies provide links and brief descriptions of their products and services. With each click made on the link that directs or leads a subscriber from your list to their site, the company will pay you. This P4P or pay for performance.

3. Make deals with other companies by asking for a small percentage of sales done through your list.

With each sale that comes from your list and has gone there because of your newsletter, the partnering company will pay you a small percentage of your sales. The more purchasers, the more you earn.

4. You may also get products from other websites on a consignment basis to sell to your list through your newsletter.

Place descriptions, articles, and photos of the product in your newsletter. For those who do buy from you, you can order the product from the other site and sell it to your buyer.

5. Sell e-books or a compilation of your articles to your opt-in list.

Manuals and how-to articles are in great demand. Many people will be willing to shell out money to gain knowledge about a certain topic and subject. With your existing list trusting your expertise in that area, an e-book could be offered and sold or used as an incentive.

6. Create a network out of your list.

Get people to invite more people to view your website and subscribe to your list. The larger your list, the more people who will be able to click on your links and affiliate links as well as make your advertisement income higher.

7. Subscribers are willing to pay for information from whom and that they can trust and rely upon.

Use your list to get more and more people to subscribe to you as well as browse your website. Lastly, you can use your list to earn money by making them your partners. Your list will be the bloodline of your growth and increase.

See how with these 7 ways of just using your opt-in list that you can make money? With so many products out there as well as so many product creators that you do not know who to trust, subscribers getting to know you by being part of an opt-in list can reduce a lot of skepticism. Plus, for you the website owner, getting sales is more guaranteed this way than relying on a traffic exchange site where your website’s visitors are only trying to earn credits, or relying on pay to click sites where these visitors are only viewing your website so they can earn a few cents.

What Really Makes You Tick: 10 Questions To Ask Yourself

Be all that you can be, but not always in the Army. I often see myself as somewhat content with my life with the way things are, but of course it's hard to think of anything else when there are real issues to be discussed.

Still I aspire for something deeper and more meaningful.

Yes we're all tied down with problems. Honestly it shouldn't bother or even hinder us to becoming all we should be. Aspirations we had as kids should continue to live within us, even though it would be short-lived or only as long as we could hold on to the dream. They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks…or can you?

With that here are some questions you should ask yourself to help you be all you can be.

1. What do I really want?

This is the question of the ages. So many things you want to do with your life and so little time to even go about during the day.

Finding something you are good at can help realize the small step towards improvement. Diligence is the key to know that it is worth it.

2. Should I really change?

Today's generation has taken another level of redefining 'self', or at least that's what the kids are saying. Today’s teens have said that there are far worse things in live than acne or maybe even promiscuity. So how does that fit into your lifestyle?

If history has taught us one thing, it's the life that we have gone through. Try to see if partying Seventies, Eighties, or even Nineties style wouldn't appeal to the younger generation, but dancing is one part of partying. Watch them applaud after showing them how to really dance than break their bones in break-dancing, slam dancing, or whatever else they call dancing.

3. What's the bright side to all of this?

With so much happening around us there seems to be no room to even consider the light at the end of the tunnel. We can still see it as something positive without undergoing so much scrutiny, and if it's a train at the end of the tunnel, take it for a ride and see what makes the world go round!

4. Am I comfortable with what I'm doing?

There's always the easy way and the right way when it comes to deciding what goes with which shoes, purse, shirt, pants, and whatnot. It doesn't take a genius to see yourself as someone unique, or else we'll all be equally the same in everything we do. Variety brings in very interesting and exciting questions to be experimented.

5. Have I done enough for myself?

Have you? Or is there something more you want to do? Discontentment in every aspect can be dangerous in large doses, but in small amounts you'll be able to see and do stuff you could never imagine doing.

6. Am I happy with where I am today?

It's an unfair question so let it be an answer! You love being a good and loving parent to your children, so take it up a notch! Your kids will love you forever. The same goes with everyday life!

7. Am I appealing to the opposite sex?

Maybe I don't have an answer to that, but that doesn't mean I can't try it, though. Whether you get in shape, change the way you wear your clothes or hair, or even improve your attitude towards people, you should always remember it will always be for your own benefit.

8. How much could I have?

I suppose in this case there is no such thing as having too much or too little, but it's more on how bad you really need it. I'd like to have lots of money, no denying that, but the question is that how much are you willing to work for it?

9. What motivates me?

What motivates you? It's an answer you have to find out for yourself. There are so many different things that can make everyone happy, but choosing that one thing may be the hardest part. It's not like you can't have just one serving of your favorite food in a buffet and that's it. So try it piece by piece.

10. What Really Makes You Tick?

So? What really makes you tick? You can be just about anything you always wanted to be, but realizing that attaining something that may seem very difficult is already giving up before you even start that journey. Always remember, that self-improvement is not just about the physical or philosophical change you must undergo, but it's something that you really want.

So if you can answer these 10 questions, you will be on your way to being all you can be, and not necessarily in the Army.

"Life With Woody" 10 Inspirational Quotes That Can Improve Your Well-Being

It might take a little coffee, or perhaps a few rounds of beer or any other booze that you could get your hands on when it comes to relaxing after a hard day's work.  Well, yeah I'm guilty about that one as well, unless I'm caught dead wearing a lampshade over my head after a few rounds of vodka – and half-naked!  Okay, bad example, and I apologize to everyone reading this after getting nightmares about me in that state of drunken stupor.

Just don't ask how it happened, please.

But what's really interesting is that how people go through the usual part of life when faced with vein-popping stress?  I mean, the new age thing like Zen or yoga is one of the good things, and it actually works.  Is there room for the intellectual side of people who can actually smell the roses-in-a-can while on the move?  It kind of had me thinking that there really must be something in this 'mind-over-matter' thing.

Humor is indeed the best medicine there is whenever you are.  I mean anyone can pay good money to listen to a comedian just to make you wet your pants after laughing so hard.  Despite of what's been happening, and to those who have gone though the ordeal, it's better to just laugh while facing the troubles with a clear mind than anger with a clouded vision.  One of my favorite celebrities of all time would have to be Woody Allen.  Now this is one guy who gives you the in-your-face bluntness that he pulls out with gusto, even without really trying.  You can talk just about anything with a man, and he's bound to mock the subject, and you'll end up laughing rather than being upset about it.

Woody Allen has this to say:

1. "Money is better than poverty, if only for financial reasons."  It sounds good to me.  I mean the practicality of all things does involve money, but it doesn't have to take an arm and a leg to get it.

2. "I believe there is something out there watching us.  Unfortunately, it's the government."  'Nuff said.

3. "There are worse things in life than death.  Have you ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman?"  This happens to be one of the classic ones.  I mean the issue about life's little problems isn't all that bad, until 'he' shows up.

Sure, relationships can get complicated, or have complications that probably any author about relationships is bound to discover soon enough.  We follow what our heart desires, unless you're talking about the heart as in the heart that pumps blood throughout your body.

4. "Love is the answer, but while you're waiting for the answer, sex raises some pretty interesting questions."  And if you want more, just keep on asking!

5. "A fast word about oral contraception.  I asked a girl to go to bed with me, she said 'no'."  It sounds, 'practical', I think.

And when it comes to everyday life, he really knows how to make the best out of every possible scenario, and it doesn't involve a lawsuit if he strikes a nerve.

6. "Basically my wife was immature.  I'd be at home in the bath and she'd come in and sink my boats."  I never had a boat in my bathtub before, nor even a wife.  Just staring at it while soaking in hot water makes me seasick already.

7. "I am not afraid of death, I just don't want to be there when it happens."  If it rains, it pours.

8. "I am thankful for laughter, except when milk comes out of my nose."  It could get worse when you're guzzling on beer…or mouthwash, and it happened to me once!

9. "If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans."  At least he doesn't smite us with lightning, and I'm thankful for that.

And despite of what may happen to all of us in the next ten, twenty, or even thirty years, I guess we all have to see things in a different kind of light and not just perspective.  I can't seem to imagine life without any piece of wisdom that could guide us.  Whether we're religious or not, it takes more courage to accept your fears and learn how to deal with them is all that matters when it comes to even just getting along.

And to sum things up, here is the last nugget of wisdom to go by…however, whenever, and wherever we may be.

10. "The talent for being happy is appreciating and liking what you have, instead of what you don't have."

Ciao!
