Record 2.9 Million U.S. Properties Receive Foreclosure Filings in 2010 Despite 30-Month Low in December:

Florida Foreclosure Activity Drops 22 Percent in December, but Bank Repossessions Spike more than 45 Percent in Nevada, Arizona, California

IRVINE, Calif. - January 2011 - RealtyTrac, the leading online marketplace for foreclosure properties, today released its Year-End 2010 U.S. Foreclosure Market Report, which shows a total of 3,825,637 foreclosure filings - default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions - were reported on a record 2,871,891 U.S. properties in 2010, an increase of nearly 2 percent from 2009 and an increase of 23 percent from 2008. The report also shows that 2.23 percent of all U.S. housing units (one in 45) received at least one foreclosure filing during the year, up from 2.21 percent in 2009, 1.84 percent in 2008, 1.03 percent in 2007 and 0.58 percent in 2006.

Foreclosure filings were reported on 257,747 U.S. properties in December, a decrease of nearly 2 percent from the previous month and down 26 percent from December 2009 - the biggest annual drop in foreclosure activity since RealtyTrac began publishing its foreclosure report in January 2005 and giving December the lowest monthly total since June 2008.

December Default notices (NOD, LIS) decreased 4 percent from the previous month and were down 35 percent from December 2009; Scheduled foreclosure auctions (NTS, NFS) decreased 3 percent from the previous month and were down 20 percent from December 2009; and bank repossessions (REO) increased nearly 4 percent from the previous month - thanks in part to substantial month-over-month increases in some states such as Nevada (71 percent increase), Arizona (52 percent increase) and California (47 percent increase) - but were still down 24 percent from December 2009.

Foreclosure filings were reported on 799,064 U.S. properties in the fourth quarter, a 14 percent decrease from the previous quarter and an 8 percent decrease from the fourth quarter of 2009. The fourth quarter total was the lowest quarterly total since Q4 2008.

Total properties receiving foreclosure filings would have easily exceeded 3 million in 2010 had it not been for the fourth quarter drop in foreclosure activity - triggered primarily by the continuing controversy surrounding foreclosure documentation and procedures that prompted many major lenders to temporarily halt some foreclosure proceedings, said James J. Saccacio, chief executive officer of RealtyTrac. Even so, 2010 foreclosure activity still hit a record high for our report, and many of the foreclosure proceedings that were stopped in late 2010 - which we estimate may be as high as a quarter million - will likely be re-started and add to the numbers in early 2011.

Nevada, Arizona, Florida post top state foreclosure rates

More than 9 percent of Nevada housing units (one in 11) received at least one foreclosure filing in 2010, giving it the nation?s highest state foreclosure rate for the fourth consecutive year despite a 5 percent decrease in foreclosure activity from 2009. Nevada foreclosure activity in December increased 18 percent from the previous month and was up 14 percent from December 2009. Fourth quarter foreclosure activity in Nevada decreased nearly 7 percent from the previous quarter but increased 19 percent from the fourth quarter of 2009.

Arizona registered the nation's second highest state foreclosure rate for the second year in a row, with 5.73 percent of its housing units (one in 17) receiving at least one foreclosure filing in 2010, and Florida registered the nation?s third highest foreclosure rate, with 5.51 percent of its housing units (one in 18) receiving at least one foreclosure filing during the year.

Other states with 2010 foreclosure rates ranking among the nation's 10 highest were California (4.08 percent), Utah (3.44 percent), Georgia (3.25 percent), Michigan (3.00 percent), Idaho (2.98 percent), Illinois (2.87 percent), and Colorado (2.51 percent).

California, Florida, Arizona, Illinois and Michigan account for half of national total

Five states accounted for 51 percent of the nation?s total foreclosure activity in 2010: California, Florida, Arizona, Illinois and Michigan. Together these five states documented nearly 1.5 million properties receiving a foreclosure filing during the year despite annual decreases in the three states with the most foreclosure activity.

A total of 546,669 California properties received a foreclosure filing in 2010, a decrease of nearly 14 percent from 2009 but still the largest state total. After hitting a two-year low in November, California foreclosure activity rebounded nearly 15 percent higher in December but was still down 18 percent from December 2009.

Florida posted the nation's second biggest total in 2010, with 485,286 properties receiving a foreclosure filing - a 6 percent decrease from 2009. Florida foreclosure activity in December hit the lowest monthly level since July 2007, down 22 percent from the previous month and down nearly 54 percent from December 2009.

A total of 155,878 Arizona properties received a foreclosure filing in 2010, a 4 percent decrease from 2009 but the third biggest state total for the third straight year. Arizona foreclosure activity in December jumped nearly 31 percent higher from a 32-month low in November, but was still down nearly 33 percent from December 2009.

Illinois posted the fourth biggest state total, with 151,304 properties receiving a foreclosure filing in 2010, and Michigan posted the fifth biggest state total, with 135,874 properties receiving a foreclosure filing during the year. Foreclosure activity in both states increased about 15 percent from 2009.

Other states with 2010 totals among the 10 biggest in the country were Georgia (130,966), Texas (118,923), Ohio (108,160), Nevada (106,160), and New Jersey (64,808).

Report methodology

The RealtyTrac Year-End U.S. Foreclosure Market Report provides a count of the total number of properties with at least one foreclosure filing entered into the RealtyTrac database during the year. Some foreclosure filings entered into the database during the year may have been recorded in the previous year. Data is collected from more than 2,200 counties nationwide, and those counties account for more than 90 percent of the U.S. population. RealtyTrac?s report incorporates documents filed in all three phases of foreclosure: Default - Notice of Default (NOD) and Lis Pendens (LIS); Auction - Notice of Trustee Sale and Notice of Foreclosure Sale (NTS and NFS); and Real Estate Owned, or REO properties (that have been foreclosed on and repurchased by a bank). For the annual and quarterly reports, if more than one foreclosure document is received for a property during the year or quarter, only the most recent filing is counted in the report. The annual, quarterly and monthly reports all check if the same type of document was filed against a property previously. If so, and if that previous filing occurred within the estimated foreclosure timeframe for the state where the property is located, the report does not count the property in the current year, quarter or month.

Forex Trading Tools & The Three Trend Line Strategy

There is no one single super smart FOREX trading tool that gives you profit, profit, and more profit. The only possible solution is using a combination of different tools to identify the favorable market forces to get the most high probability trades over a period of time. Trend lines are the most popular and reliable FOREX trading tool that successful traders will recommend.

Trend Lines are an important tool for trend identification and confirmation in technical analysis. Trend lines are straight lines that connect two or more price points and extend into the future to guide you.

There will be lines drawn across significant lows in an uptrend, and across significant highs in a downtrend. To roughly classify trend lines, we can divide them into three types: short term trend lines, medium term trend lines, and long term trend lines.

1. Short Term Trend Lines

These lines are drawn across the most recent two lows for an uptrend or across most recent two highs for a downtrend. The best observations are found on a smaller time frame such as a 15 minute or 30 minute chart.

2. Medium Term Trend Lines

These are best observed on a higher time frame like a 60 minute chart. These lines either connect the nearest significant low to current price action to the previous significant low in an uptrend or the nearest significant high to current price action to the previous significant high in a downtrend.

3. Long Term Trend Lines

These use higher time frames such as the 4 hour chart or the daily chart to draw long term trend lines using the same method of Medium Term Trend Lines. The long term trend line is considered as an effective FOREX trading tool. The daily chart is used mostly by traders of big institutions who do not usually engage in small moves on an intraday level.

By drawing a trend line on a daily chart you can graphically analyze where price is and where it is likely to bounce, but you should employ trend lines as a FOREX trading tool with caution and discretion. Covering your charts with every trend line possible will result in confusion and blurry analysis.

It is not a good idea to rely completely on a short time trend line as these merely give you a defined picture of current price action. These are broken often during the course of a day. Their main use is to give you a clear, instantly recognizable graphical representation of current price behavior.

If you notice the price coming back to test a trend line on the higher time frames, look at other factors. Draw in horizontal lines to mark key support and resistance using previous highs and lows. Draw Fibonacci retracement and extension levels. Calculate the daily pivot points and put them on your chart. Have the 200 EMA (Exponential Moving Average) shown on your charts.

Do this and you will maximize the benefits of the three trend line strategy.

IRVINE, Calif. - Nov. 2010 - RealtyTrac® (realtytrac.com), the leading online marketplace for foreclosure properties, today released its U.S. Foreclosure Market Report for October 2010, which shows foreclosure filings - default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions - were reported on 332,172 properties in October, a 4 percent decrease from the previous month and almost exactly the same total reported in October 2009. One in every 389 U.S. housing units received a foreclosure filing during the month.

"October marks the 20th consecutive month where over 300,000 U.S. homeowners received a foreclosure notice," said James J. Saccacio, chief executive officer at RealtyTrac. "The numbers probably would have been higher except for the fallout from the recent 'robo-signing' controversy - which is the most likely reason for the 9 percent monthly drop in REOs we saw from September to October and which may result in further decreases in November."

Foreclosure Activity by Type

A total of 100,575 U.S. properties received default notices (NOD, LIS) in October, a 2 percent decrease from the previous month and a 19 percent decrease from October 2009 - the ninth straight month where default notices have decreased on a year-over-year basis.

Default notices were still up on a monthly basis in several states: Florida LIS were up 2 percent from the previous month; Ohio LIS were up 10 percent; and Illinois LIS were up 24 percent. Meanwhile, NODs decreased on a monthly basis in California (down 9 percent from the previous month), Nevada (down 17 percent), and Michigan (down 18 percent).

Foreclosure auctions (NTS, NFS) were scheduled for the first time on a total of 138,361 U.S. properties in October, a 3 percent decrease from the previous month but still a 6 percent increase from October 2009. Scheduled auctions decreased month-over-month in 26 states and the District of Columbia, while 16 states posted year-over-year decreases in scheduled auctions.

Lenders foreclosed on 93,236 U.S. properties in October, down 9 percent from the record high in the previous month but still up 21 percent from October 2009. Bank repossessions (REOs) decreased month-over month in 33 states and the District of Columbia, while 14 states posted year-over-year decreases in REOs. Including October, lenders have foreclosed on an average of more than 91,000 properties each month this year.

Nevada, Florida, Arizona Post Top State Foreclosure Rates

Nevada continued to document the nation's highest state foreclosure rate in October, with one in every 79 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing during the month - nearly five times the national average. A total of 14,205 Nevada properties received a foreclosure filing during the month, a decrease of 13 percent from the previous month but an increase of nearly 3 percent from October 2009 - the first year-over-year increase in Nevada foreclosure activity since September 2009.

Florida foreclosure activity increased on a year-over-year basis for the second straight month following five straight months of annual decreases, helping the state to maintain the nation's second highest state foreclosure rate for the third month in a row. One in every 155 Florida housing units received a foreclosure filing during the month, 2.5 times the national average.

One in every 165 Arizona housing units received a foreclosure filing in October, the nation's third highest state foreclosure rate for the third month in a row. A total of 16,538 Arizona properties received a foreclosure filing during the month, a decrease of 3 percent from the previous month but an increase of nearly 24 percent from October 2009 - the second straight month where the state's foreclosure activity increased on a year-over-year basis following seven straight months of annual decreases in foreclosure activity.

Other states with foreclosure rates ranking among the top 10 in October were California, Michigan, Utah, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois and Colorado.

Five States Account for More Than 50 percent of National Total

California alone accounted for 20 percent of the national total in October, with 66,475 properties receiving a foreclosure filing during the month - a nearly 12 percent decrease from the previous month and a decrease of 22 percent from October 2009.

A total of 56,858 Florida properties received a foreclosure filing in October, the nation's second highest state total and accounting for 17 percent of the national total.

With 19,288 properties receiving a foreclosure filing in October, Michigan posted the nation's third highest state foreclosure activity total and accounted for nearly 6 percent of the national total. Michigan foreclosure activity decreased nearly 12 percent from the previous month but was still up 17 percent from October 2009.

Foreclosure filings were reported on 16,969 Illinois properties and 16,538 Arizona properties in October, with each state accounting for roughly 5 percent of the national total.

Other states with foreclosure activity totals among the nation's 10 highest in October were Georgia (14,850), Nevada (14,205), Ohio (13,233), Texas (13,008), and Washington (6,346).

Top 10 Metro Foreclosure Rates in Nevada, California and Florida

Foreclosure activity in Las Vegas-Paradise, Nev., increased less than 1 percent from October 2009 and the metro area continued to post the highest foreclosure rate among metropolitan areas with a population of 200,000 or more - one in every 70 housing units received a foreclosure filing during the month. Reno-Sparks, Nev., also documented a foreclosure rate in the top 10, at No. 9 with one in every 122 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing in October.

With one in every 96 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing in October, Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Fla., posted the nation's second highest metro foreclosure rate for the month. Other Florida metro areas with foreclosure rates in the top 10 were Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach at No. 7 and Orlando-Kissimmee at No. 10.

Modesto, Calif., posted the nation's third highest metro foreclosure rate, with one in every 102 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing in October. Other California metro areas with foreclosure rates in the top 10 were Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario at No. 4, Stockton at No. 5, Merced at No. 6, and Vallejo-Fairfield at No. 8.

All top 10 metro areas posted month-over-month decreases in foreclosure activity, and seven of the top 10 posted year-over-year decreases in foreclosure activity.

IRVINE, Calif. - Oct. 14, 2010 - RealtyTrac (realtytrac.com), the leading online marketplace for foreclosure properties, today released its U.S. Foreclosure Market Report for the third quarter of 2010, which shows that foreclosure filings - default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions - were reported on 930,437 properties in the third quarter, a nearly 4 percent increase from the previous quarter but a 1 percent decrease from the third quarter of 2009. One in every 139 U.S. housing units received a foreclosure filing during the quarter.

Foreclosure filings were reported on 347,420 U.S. properties in September, an increase of nearly 3 percent from the previous month and an increase of 1 percent from September 2009. A record total of 102,134 bank repossessions were reported in September, the first time bank repossessions have surpassed the 100,000 mark in a single month.

"Lenders foreclosed on a record number of properties in September and in the third quarter, taking a bite out of the backlog of distressed properties where the foreclosure process was delayed by foreclosure prevention efforts over the past 20 months," said James J. Saccacio, chief executive officer of RealtyTrac. "We expect to see a dip in those bank repossessions - and possibly earlier stages of the foreclosure process - in the fourth quarter as several major lenders have halted foreclosure sales in some states while they review irregularities in foreclosure-processing documentation that has been called into question in recent weeks."

Impact of lender foreclosure halts:

Foreclosure activity in the 24 judicial foreclosure states most affected by the foreclosure documentation issue accounted for 40 percent of all foreclosure activity in the third quarter and 36 percent of bank repossessions, or REOs.

"If the lenders can resolve the documentation issue quickly, then we would expect the temporary lull in foreclosure activity to be followed by a parallel spike in activity as many of the delayed foreclosures move forward in the foreclosure process," Saccacio said. "However, if the documentation issue cannot be quickly resolved and expands to more lenders we could see a chilling effect on the overall housing market as sales of pre-foreclosure and foreclosed properties, which account for nearly one-third of all sales, dry up and the shadow inventory of distressed properties grows - causing more uncertainty about home prices."

Preliminary RealtyTrac foreclosure sales numbers for September show that overall foreclosure sales - including pre-foreclosure sales and REO sales - accounted for 31 percent of all sales during the month. REO sales alone accounted for 18 percent of all sales. Foreclosure sales in the 24 states most affected by the foreclosure documentation issue accounted for 32 percent of all foreclosure sales nationwide, based on the preliminary September data.

Foreclosure Activity by Type:

During the quarter a total of 269,647 properties received default notices (Notices of Default or Lis Pendens), a decrease of 1 percent from the previous quarter and a decrease of 21 percent from the third quarter of 2009, when default notices peaked at more than 342,000.

Foreclosure auctions were scheduled for the first time on a total of 372,445 properties during the quarter, the highest quarterly total for scheduled auctions in the history of the report. Scheduled auctions increased 5 percent from the previous quarter and were up 4 percent from the third quarter of 2009.

Bank repossessions (REOs) also hit a record high for the report in the third quarter, with a total of 288,345 properties repossessed by the lender during the quarter - an increase of 7 percent from the previous quarter and an increase of 22 percent from the third quarter of 2009.

Nevada, Arizona, Florida post top state foreclosure rates in third quarter:

As it has for the past 15 quarters, Nevada continued to document the nation's highest state foreclosure rate in the third quarter of 2010 despite a year-over-year decline in foreclosure activity. One in every 29 Nevada housing units received a foreclosure filing during the quarter, almost five times the national average. Nevada foreclosure activity increased nearly 1 percent from the previous quarter but was down nearly 20 percent from the third quarter of 2009.

Arizona posted the nation's second highest state foreclosure rate for the fifth consecutive quarter, with one in every 55 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing, and Florida posted the nations third highest state foreclosure rate for the fourth consecutive quarter, with one in every 56 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing.

With one in every 70 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing during the third quarter, California documented the nation's fourth highest foreclosure rate, followed by Idaho, with one in every 86 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing during the quarter. A total of 7,424 Idaho housing units received a foreclosure filing during the quarter, an increase of nearly 20 percent from the previous quarter and an increase of nearly 14 percent from the third quarter of 2009.

Other states with foreclosure rates ranking among the top 10 in the third quarter were Utah, Georgia, Michigan, Illinois and Hawaii.

Five states account for more than 50 percent of nation's third quarter total:

California alone accounted for 21 percent of the nation's total foreclosure activity in the third quarter, with 191,016 properties receiving a foreclosure notice - the nation's largest foreclosure activity total. California foreclosure activity decreased nearly 1 percent from the previous quarter and was down nearly 24 percent from the third quarter of 2009.

Florida foreclosure activity increased 12 percent from the previous quarter and was flat from a year ago, giving the state the second largest foreclosure activity total, with 157,026 properties receiving a foreclosure filing.

With 49,103 properties receiving a foreclosure filing in the third quarter, Arizona posted the nation's third largest state foreclosure activity total. Arizona foreclosure activity increased nearly 8 percent from the previous quarter but was down 2 percent from the third quarter of 2009.

Illinois posted the nation's fourth largest foreclosure activity total, with 47,802 properties receiving foreclosure filings, and Michigan posted the nation's fifth largest foreclosure activity total, with 46,100 properties receiving foreclosure filings. Foreclosure activity in both Illinois and Michigan increased on a quarterly and annual basis in the third quarter.

Other states with foreclosure activity totals among the nation's 10 highest were Georgia (41,231), Nevada (38,429), Ohio (36,677), Texas (34,187) and Washington (17,670)

Report methodology:

The RealtyTrac U.S. Foreclosure Market Report provides a count of the total number of properties with at least one foreclosure filing entered into the RealtyTrac database during the month and quarter - broken out by type of filing. Some foreclosure filings entered into the database during a month or quarter may have been recorded in previous months or quarters. Data is collected from more than 2,200 counties nationwide, and those counties account for more than 90 percent of the U.S. population. RealtyTrac's report incorporates documents filed in all three phases of foreclosure: Default - Notice of Default (NOD) and Lis Pendens (LIS); Auction - Notice of Trustee Sale and Notice of Foreclosure Sale (NTS and NFS); and Real Estate Owned, or REO properties (that have been foreclosed on and repurchased by a bank). These are the core basics of time management that should be understood to develop an efficient personal time management skill. Laugh and laugh heartily everyday. Heard a good joke? Tell your friends or family about it. As they also say – “Laughter is the best medicine”.

IRVINE, Calif. - Sep. 16, 2010: RealtyTrac (realtytrac.com), the leading online marketplace for foreclosure properties, today released its U.S. Foreclosure Market Report for August 2010, which shows foreclosure filings - default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions - were reported on 338,836 properties in August, a 4 percent increase from the previous month but a 5 percent decrease from August 2009. One in every 381 U.S. housing units received a foreclosure filing during the month.

The trend lines of decreasing default notices and increasing bank repossessions converged in August, with virtually the same number of new default notices and bank repossessions for the month - a clear indication that the clogged foreclosure pipeline is being carefully managed on both ends by lenders and servicers,' said James J. Saccacio, chief executive officer of RealtyTrac. 'On the front end, seriously delinquent loans are rolling into foreclosure at an unusually slow rate, while on the back end the dammed-up inventory of properties already in foreclosure is moving to REO in steady stream rather than a flood - presumably to prevent further erosion of home prices.'

Foreclosure Activity by Type:

A total of 96,469 U.S. properties received default notices (NOD, LIS) in August, a 1 percent decrease from the previous month and a 30 percent decrease from August 2009 - the seventh straight month where default notices have decreased on a year-over-year basis. Default notices peaked in April 2009, when 142,064 were reported nationwide.

Default notices increased on a monthly basis in some states, counter to the national trend. Default notices in California increased on a month-over-month basis for the third month in a row, and New York, Indiana, Ohio and Florida also registered month-over-month increases in default notices.

Foreclosure auctions (NTS, NFS) were scheduled for the first time on a total of 147,003 U.S. properties in August, a 9 percent increase from the previous month and a 2 percent increase from August 2009. The August total for scheduled auctions was the second highest monthly total in the history of the report, which goes back to April 2005, and was 7 percent below the peak of 158,105 in March 2010.

Lenders foreclosed on 95,364 U.S. properties in August, the highest monthly total in the history of the report and about 2 percent higher than the previous peak of 93,777 bank repossessions (REOs) in May 2010. August REO activity increased 3 percent from the previous month and was up 25 percent from August 2009 - the ninth straight month where REOs have increased on a year-over-year basis.

Nevada, Florida, Arizona post top state foreclosure rates in August

Nevada continued to document the nation's highest state foreclosure rate for the 44th straight month, with one in every 84 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing in August - 4.5 times the national average. Nevada maintained the nation's highest state foreclosure rate despite a 25 percent year-over-year decrease in foreclosure activity in August - the 11th straight month where Nevada foreclosure activity has decreased on a year-over-year basis.

Florida foreclosure activity decreased on a year-over-year basis for the fifth straight month in August, but the state's foreclosure rate still ranked second highest among all states. One in every 155 Florida housing units received a foreclosure filing in August - 2.5 times the national average.

One in every 165 Arizona housing units received a foreclosure filing in August, the nation's third highest state foreclosure rate, and one in every 194 California housing units received a foreclosure filing in August, the nation's fourth highest state foreclosure rate.

One in every 220 Idaho housing units received a foreclosure filing in August, the nation's fifth highest state foreclosure rate. A total of 2,915 Idaho properties received a foreclosure filing in August, an increase of nearly 9 percent from the previous month and an increase of 11 percent from August 2009. Idaho was the only state with a top 5 foreclosure rate to document a year-over-year increase in foreclosure activity.

Other states with foreclosure rates ranking among the top 10 in August were Utah, Georgia, Michigan, Illinois and Hawaii.

Florida default notices were down 46 percent from August 2009 but increased 2 percent from the previous month, ending five straight months of month-over-month decreases in Florida default notices.

Michigan, Illinois and Arizona each accounted for about 5 percent of the national total in August, with 17,764 Michigan properties receiving foreclosure filings, 16,808 Illinois properties receiving foreclosure filings, and 16,510 Arizona properties receiving foreclosure filings.

Other states with foreclosure activity totals among the nation's 10 highest in August were Georgia (16,366), Texas (14,290), Ohio (13,479), Nevada (13,385), and Washington (6,760).

Metro foreclosure hot spots continue downward trend

All 10 metro areas with the nation's highest foreclosure rates in August posted year-over-year decreases in foreclosure activity for the second month in a row.

The Las Vegas-Paradise, Nev., metro area documented the highest foreclosure rate among metropolitan areas with a population of 200,000 or more, with one in every 73 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing, despite a 25 percent decrease in foreclosure activity from August 2009.

Foreclosure activity in Modesto, Calif., decreased 10 percent from August 2009, but the city still documented the nation's second highest metro foreclosure rate, with one in every 95 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing in August. Six other California metro areas had foreclosure rates ranking among the top 10: Stockton at No. 3 (one in every 100 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing); Merced at No. 6 (one in 111); Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario at No. 7 (one in 113); Bakersfield at No. 8 (one in 120); Vallejo-Fairfield at No. 9 (one in 124); and Sacramento-Arden-Arcade-Roseville at No. 10 (one in 125).

Two Florida metro areas registered foreclosure rates among the top 10: Cape Coral-Fort Myers, Fla., at No. 3, with one in every 104 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing; and Miami-Fort Lauderdale-Pompano Beach at No. 5, with one in every 111 housing units receiving a foreclosure filing.

Report Methodology:

The RealtyTrac U.S. Foreclosure Market Report provides a count of the total number of properties with at least one foreclosure filing entered into the RealtyTrac database during the month - broken out by type of filing. Some foreclosure filings entered into the database during the month may have been recorded in previous months. Data is collected from more than 2,200 counties nationwide, and those counties account for more than 90 percent of the U.S. population. 1. What You Know

Education is all about learning the basics, but to be an effective speaker means to practice what you've learned. My stint as a guest at every Toastmasters' meeting I go to has taught me that we all have our limitations, but that doesn't mean we can't learn to keep up and share what we know.

2. Listening

It's just as important as asking questions. Sometimes listening to the sound of our own voice can teach us to be a little more confident with ourselves and to say the things we believe in with conviction.

3. Humility

We all make mistakes, and sometimes we tend to slur our words, stutter, and probably mispronounce certain words even though we know what they mean and yet rarely use it only to impress listeners. So in a group, don't be afraid to ask if you're saying the right word properly, and if they're unsure about it then make a joke out of it. There's a lot to say when it comes to directing your attention to your audience with an eye-catching gaze. It's important that you keep your focus when talking to a large group in a meeting or a gathering, even though a certain someone may be gorgeous.

A little bit of humor can do wonders to lift the tension, or worse boredom when speaking. That way, you'll get the attention of the majority of the crowd, and they'll feel that you're just as approachable and as human to those who listen.

Four Main Types of Orders in the FOREX Market

There are many types of orders for traders to make transactions in the FOREX Market for making profits. Four main types are the most used, and many traders have found tremendous success with Market, Limit, Stop Loss, and Entry Orders.

Market Order

The most simple and most common type of order in the FOREX Market is the Market Order. Here, the trader buys and sells the currency at the rate prevailing in the market at the time of the transaction. Due to the huge size of the market and the high volatility, trends can reverse at any second. This is why traders prefer placing orders at the market price to guard them against any adverse trend.

Limit Order

With the Limit Order the trader specifies a price at which he may wish to buy or sell the currency. Suppose a trader has bought GBP against the USD at 1.9710, and then he can place a sell order at 1.9725. When the exchange executes the order, the trader will profit from it. The order will be cancelled if the target price is not achieved during the day.

Stop Loss Order

Due to market volatility, stop losses are essential. They determine the maximum loss a trader is willing to suffer. Suppose, in the above instance, the risk-taking ability of the trader is low. The trader may place a stop loss at 1.9705. At this level the exchange will book losses for him or her, and he or she won’t be affected if the price falls below 1.9705.

Entry Order

An Entry Order is filled only when certain conditions are met in the market, which the order specifies. There are two types of Entry Orders: Limit Entry and Stop Entry.

Here is an example of a Limit Entry Order. Let’s assume that the current market price for GBP/USD is 1.9705:10. This implies that the trader can transact at these levels. Here, a trader can place a limit entry order to sell his or her holdings at a price more than the market price, say, 1.9715. His or her order would be executed only if that price is attained. Similarly, he or she can place an order for buying at a level of, say 1.9700, and his or her ‘buy’ order would remain pending till the price falls to that level.

A Stop Entry Order is generally used when the trader has sufficient grounds to believe that the currency is trading in a fixed range and believes that it is on the verge of a breakout from that range. He or she might want to buy at a price higher than the market price or sell at a lower price than the market price. In the same example, the trader may go ahead and buy at 1.9720 or sell at 1.9690, where he believes that once these levels are attained, the currency will only go up or fall further, as the case may be. A trader exercises the stop entry order only when a trader has reasonable grounds to believe that there will be sharp movements in the currency rates in the Forex market.
